Silvia is pretty much everyone’s little sister. Even though she is only a year or two younger than most of her friends, her sheltered home life and natural childishness means she’s a little slow to catch up with her peers. Silvia is an endless source of energy, curiosity, and friendly sunshine.
Stuck in that weird place between wanting to climb trees without a care in the world and suddenly realizing boys are cute, Silvia has been testing the boundaries of her freedom—and her older brother’s patience. She wants to be a popular girl and kiss lots of boys, and is getting frustrated with everyone still treating her like she’s a little kid.
Silvia hopes to learn all of Margrit’s lessons about being an Alpha Girl so that people will finally take her seriously.

Silvia is a fifteen-year-old sophomore at Silent Pines High with a B average. She enjoys everything about school, from learning new things to the fun extracurricular activities. Her favorite class this year is Earth Science. In the afternoons she can be found at cheer practice barking at the others girls as Margrit’s assistant. If she could live at the school, she would.

It’d be easy to say Silvia likes everyone… even the people she doesn’t like. She enjoys all of the dynamics and drama of making friends or rivals. Social politics are FUN!
Her brother Caleb is the most important person in her life, even though she’s starting to find his big-brother-protectiveness frustrating. Silvia wants to prove to him that she can take care of herself AND their big family. It doesn’t always have to be just his responsibility.
Margrit Berkshire and Julian Hollinger are her mentors for all things powerful and amazing, but in two totally different ways. Silvia loves the way Margrit can command fear and respect through simple intimidation. But Silvia also loves Julian’s method of earning respect by being people’s support and making them feel safe. She hopes to be an Alpha Girl who can do BOTH.
Though Silvia was mad at Angela for awhile because of Caleb-drama, Angela is her romance role model. Girls shouldn’t be afraid to chase boys and go after what they want. Silvia intends to kiss a bunch of them and see who she likes best.
